S$200,000 Entitles You To ........

Put S$200,000 into the banks and you can be members of eg:
DBS- Treasures
HSBC - Premier
UOB - Privilege
Standard Chartered - Priority
Citi - Citigold
A RM will be in-charge of your account and you can supposedly contact the RM almost 24/7 if not there is a special banking hotline for you to call for all banking requests/needs.
You may receive some complimentary tickets to some events happening in Singapore, but perhaps once or twice a year only, unlike the private banking customers who have more privileges.

Hmmm..why am I not entitled to any complimentary tickets in priority or private?

Only thing I get is year-end gifts and holidays hampers.

actually it's no big deal, all those so called perks/benefits.

Hi Wealth Journey, if you are in Priority, then perhaps you can put in a request to your RM for tickets for eg sporting events, but no guarantee you would get one. However, if you are in Private, then there is no excuse for them not to give you complimentary tickets for special events.

Maybe the RMs took the tickets for themselves instead? :(

Anyway, how do you know what are the special events ? The bank don't tell you right..

I only get invites to investment seminars, luncheons or dinners. No F1 tickets, no glamour & glitz events.. sob sob...

and that applies to all the 3 pte bank accounts I have and the priority account I have is enough to qualify for pte bank too.

Can help ask your pte bank people whether it is true? Anyway, got any tips on getting it..

Though..would it come in the form of .. you buy more products.. I will give you more benefits.

Hi Wealth Journey, perhaps you can call the Private Banker up and say that you are thinking of putting more funds into the bank either as normal deposits or as investments, but dont commit anything. Say another bank is giving you some special complimentary tickets etc, then say you are still considering. Tell them that you will put more $ only if you can have some proper treatment as a Private Banking Customer. Or last resort, say you are thinking of taking out your $ and going to another bank, they will most probably give in.
I dont think they use the tickets for themselves, they be in trouble if they do so and I dont think they want to jeopardise their lucrative careers.
