Hard And Smart Work Pay Off

There are some bank sales staff who work hard and long hours. They get their networks right, look for customers in the most efficient and effective ways, dont mind putting in the hours on weeknights and even weekends, and work their hearts out when delivering service to customers so that these satisfied customers will either come back for more bank products or recommend their friends and business associates to these bankers.
I know a number of such bank sales personnel who usually would succeed in their various fields. Not only are the monetary rewards good, there is that sense of satisfaction when you have that special bond with your customers who would only want to deal with you. As in all relationships, trust is key.

well said! nothing like doing things the old fashioned way these days...the current market situation has cut away most of the bs and it is really time to get back to basics..i know I am...

Thanks for the comments, Tex. You are spot on. Need to get back to basics. Alot of us are feeling the stress lately (me included), current market is really tough, whether or not one is in personal, sme, wholesale banking etc. Market movement is slow and many bankers are either thinking of leaving the industry or working our butts out to survive while waiting patiently for the situation to change for the better.

You can't blame the man for saying that! :P

I am also disappointed with the so-called expertise and found myself to be as good as the experts when making investment call.

No offence but if you are educated and have an interest in investment, you can really be as good or even better than the RMs and bankers around you.

For those who are not interested in investment, you have to either read up and take responsibility for your own money or put your money into something safer.

Thanks for the comments Wealth Journey. I agree with you, there are times when the man on the street can be more well informed and learned than some bankers. These bankers are either not very passionate about their jobs or they have lost focus in their jobs or they are only concerned about their sales targets.
